Founded in 2005, Coeur Clémentine is the result of the decades-long friendship of its founders, Steve Veytia and Pierre Arosteguy, and their shared passion for the wines of Provence, and in particular, rosé. Steve, a native of St. Helena, California and Pierre, the 5th generation owner of the oldest family run epicerie in France, Maison Arosteguy in Biarritz, launched their first vintage in 2008 and the wine has gone on to win numerous awards.
Crafted in a 93 year-old facility in Puget-Ville, using techniques that are both recent and part of the long tradition of making rosé in the region. From soil and vine management, through to bottling, our processes are natural and focused on providing quality. Couer Clémentine grows and produces its wine under the direction of winemaker, Jean-Christophe Audéoud.
CÔTES DE PROVENCE & THE GOLDEN TRIANGLE
Côtes De Provence is the oldest wine making region in France and rosé was one of the first wines to be produced there.
Today, Provence devotes over 88% of its production to rosé wines.
Coeur Clémentine’s grapes are grown and harvested in what many believe to be the best soil in the region, called “The Golden Triangle”. The Golden Triangle contains the villages of Puget-Ville, Pierrefeu and Cuers and its fruit is highly sought after.

CÔTES DE PROVENCE ROSÉ
Clémentine is one of France’s fastest growing rosés.
Unique composition of Cinsault, Grenache, Tibouren and Mauverde. A fruity yet mineral-driven wine, light in color but explodes on the palate.
Our grapes are harvested in the early morning hours when the temperatures are coolest. We then send the grapes through a double-press with the first press splitting the skin. The second press, called a "soft-press" separates the fruit, leaving just the juice. Each grape is different however, skin contact is minimal and the juice is aged separately until the end of fermentation.

Coeur Clémentine developed this light, effervescent sparkling wine over a period of two-years. La Pétillante is the result of a natural process using double fermentation over several months creating small, effervescent bubbles that dance on your palate. Coeur Clémentine is one of a handful of producers capable of making sparkling wines in the region.
Dry to the bone, delicate and layered with aromas of fresh berries and spring flowers.
