Summer 2017: Biarritz, France

The summer of 2017 was a good one. Especially on the La Côte des Basques, where Steve Veytia and Pierre Arosteguy, co-owners of Coeur Clémentine are headquartered. But, then again, that’s not surprising given the ingredients: an influx of beachgoers, endless sunlight and till-midnight beach days. And, generously poured throughout, bottles of award-winning rosé... Each gathering of friends and turn of the tide was an opportunity to explore a new, sun-soaked corner of beach, restaurant or an old favorite. Clémentine seemed to be everywhere. San Francisco International Wine Competition

The 2016 vintage of Coeur Clementine rosé continues to excite trade and the consumer.  It’s always been our objective to produce a Provence rosé that delivers exceptional value so it’s especially rewarding for us when the critics voice their approval.  Coeur Clémentine earned a double gold medal at the 37th annual San Francisco Wine Competition and scored 95 points - an exceptional result in a very crowded field.  The wine also earned a gold medal at the Rosé Today International competition.   We are also very pleased to announce that Coeur Clementine’s La Pétillante Brut Rosé earned a silver medal at the San Francisco Wine Competition.  This is of special interest as we are one of a few producers making sparkling...
